Job Source & Aggregation Policy

Guidelines for employers, recruiters, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and syndication partners seeking indexing on JobSearchNearMe.online.

1. Core Aggregation Philosophy

JobSearchNearMe acts as an ultra-reliable, authentic search index for candidates. We connect seekers directly with the original hiring employer. We do not intermediate applications, do not charge candidates, and do not withhold company identities.

2. Approved Integration Channels

Direct ATS APIs

Greenhouse Harvest, Lever API, Ashby, and Workday connectors. These update hourly to mirror the employer's true internal state.

Structured XML / RSS Feeds

Feeds complying with Schema.org JobPosting specifications containing full titles, compensation ranges, and direct application URLs.

Verified Employer Portals

Hiring managers publishing directly through authenticated corporate accounts on JobSearchNearMe.

3. Crawler Politeness & Robots.txt Compliance

When our discovery connectors interact with public career portals:

Strict Robots.txt Adherence: We respect all Disallow directives, crawl-delay directives, and rate limitations.
Transparent User-Agent: All requests identify as JobSearchNearMeBot/1.0 (+https://jobsearchnearme.online/job-source-policy).
Polite Concurrency: Ingestion rates are throttled with intelligent exponential backoff to ensure zero impact on host server availability.

4. Prohibited Feeds & Automatic Blacklisting

Sources engaging in the following practices are immediately blacklisted across all ingest clusters:

• Affiliate Link Cloaking: Ingesting feeds that redirect through unverified affiliate CPA networks or adware gateways.

• Pay-to-Apply Gateways: Demanding subscription fees or payment from candidates to submit applications.

• Ghost Postings & Stale Data: Recirculating postings that have been closed for longer than 45 days.

• Doorway Page Aggregators: Re-scraping aggregator listings without direct relationship to the hiring employer.
