We are looking for a Product Engineer (m/f/d) – Steel to take technical ownership of our steel product portfolio and support the development of innovative products, materials, and manufacturing processes. Working closely with customers, suppliers, Product Management, Procurement, and Operations, you will help improve product performance, quality, and competitiveness.
Your Responsibilities
Own technical specifications and performance of the steel product portfolio.
Drive product improvements and new product development projects.
Evaluate and validate new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
Conduct product testing and customer trials.
Maintain technical documentation, specifications, and product databases.
Support patent activities and strategic technical initiatives.
Develop technical training materials for Sales and Service teams.
Collaborate on CAPEX projects and process improvements.
Your Profile
Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Product Development, R&D, Manufacturing, Technical Support, or Product Management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel up to 30%.
